Public calculations run in your browser and do not require an account. StitchMeasure is designed to minimise collection of personal information.
Publisher and contact
StitchMeasure is an independent calculator and reference website published under the Maple Web Group name. StitchMeasure does not operate a separate contact service. Website correspondence is handled through maplewebgroup.com. StitchMeasure collects no contact correspondence itself and publishes no separate email, telephone number, form or postal identity.
Calculator processing
Measurements, gauge values, target dimensions, pattern repeats and optional project notes are processed locally in the visitor’s browser. They are not deliberately retained by StitchMeasure, transmitted as analytics events or associated with an account.
Cloudflare hosting, delivery and security
Cloudflare provides hosting, content delivery and security. Like other internet infrastructure providers, Cloudflare may process request, device, network and security information under its applicable contractual and privacy terms. StitchMeasure keeps no separate copy of Cloudflare request or security logs.
Consent and browser storage
StitchMeasure stores the visitor’s analytics choice in local browser storage so that the choice can be respected on later visits. Calculator values remain in page memory and clear when the page is refreshed or closed. Visitors can reopen Privacy choices from the footer.
Google Analytics
Optional Google Analytics is disabled by default and loads only after the visitor selects “Accept analytics”. When enabled, Google may process online identifiers, device and browser information, visited pages, approximate location derived from network information, referrals and interactions such as scrolling or outbound-link use. StitchMeasure uses measurement ID G-CGXQSP53L9 to understand aggregate use of its tools. Declining analytics does not limit access to the website.
Google Analytics may store or access identifiers and process information outside the visitor’s country under Google’s applicable terms and safeguards. Visitors can withdraw their choice through Privacy choices in the footer; the change applies to future collection on that browser.
Advertising and other features
Google Ads, Google AdSense, affiliate marketing, sales processing, newsletter, accounts, comments and saved-project features are not enabled. The policy and consent implementation must be reviewed before those technologies change.
Rights and correspondence
Rights depend on applicable law and the processing concerned. Privacy correspondence is routed through maplewebgroup.com. StitchMeasure does not collect that correspondence.
